Exceptional experience. The Forjador is a very interesting man to listen to. Access for older persons isn't great. Perhaps they could make some iron handrails to overcome this?
Interesting and well preserved ironworks that has been transformed into a small museum. On Sundays there is a performance where the water powered machinery is fully operational and there’s an exhibition on how metal tools were crafted. Very instructive and interesting for the whole family! There’s also a nice walk along the riverside that starts from El Pobal ironworks. Highly recommend it!
It is possible to see an old foundry working
Guided tour to the past of the iron industry. Very good explanation and demonstration by the blacksmith. It is in a spectacular environment. Ample free parking. Affordable prices for the visit: €5.5 for adults and €3.5 for children up to 16 years old. A good place to spend the morning.
Beautiful natural setting and the Pobal forge is very beautiful.
We weren't able to see the full demo as it only runs on Saturdays, but it's still a very interesting visit.
It is very entertaining and the guide is very professional.
Highly recommended to spend a good morning.
We went to meet Olentzero and he was very friendly and entertaining. Then the guided tour was also good, although for the most txikis perhaps not so much.
Incredible. A magical place. A must visit for children and adults. Really lovely staff.
It is a place where history, magic, tradition are mixed...
Truly amazing.
We loved it. The place is beautiful, the guide was wonderful, he immersed you in the history. I loved the blacksmith, we were able to see how a needle or pin is made. My visit was short. We will repeat for sure. Next door is a bamboo forest with surprises included.
